The Founder: Kanika Sharma
Meet Kanika Sharma the visionary founder and director of The Yogic Life. Her journey with yoga began at a young age of 9-10, even though no one around her practiced it. Kanika believes that her passion for yoga has transcended from her past life and continues to be an integral part of her being.
Her passion for yoga led her to study through books and newspapers, and in 2016, she achieved her teaching certification. Her passion for wellness and fitness extends beyond yoga, as she is also a certified Karateka with five years of training and a certified mountaineer, Kanika has undertaken numerous expeditions in the Himalayas in an alpine style, conquering many peaks over 6,000 meters in record time. She aspires to scale even higher summits of 7,000 meters and 8,000 meters.
With an engineering degree and a successful 9-year stint in the semiconductor field at a top MNCs, Kanika’s love for yoga eventually paved the way for The Yogic Life. Her belief in the power of yogic philosophy to nurture a healthy lifestyle is the foundation of her work.

With her warm and compassionate approach, she creates a welcoming space for students to explore their potential and embark on their own personal journeys of self-discovery.
Beyond yoga, Kanika’s aspirations know no bounds. She dreams of adding many feathers to her hat, exploring new avenues such as skiing, scuba diving, sea diving, skydiving, and numerous other pursuits. Her zest for life and continuous thirst for knowledge inspire all those around her to embrace their own transformative journeys.
